The first time I heard of The Marches was about May last year with their song, Bad touch. There sound has matured a lot since that song, while keeping the strong focus, im not sure if I have the right expression for this but depth of sound. In the following songs that is the wonderful sound provided by the woodwind instruments.
They were recently asked to be involved in a covers compilation and the result is the latest EP ‘Director of Photography’. This EP launches August this year. The following are my favourite songs from that EP.
I love the re-arrangement of this tune, originally released by Adele. Cold Shoulder.

And one of the non -covers on the Ep, originally from their debut “4 a.m. is the new midnight”. Need Me Back. I love the vocals on this track.

The saxophonist rocks! Excellent vocalist. Arrangements are great.
Yeah, it really is well put together, took me a few listens but ‘Need me back’ is just a magnificent song! Id love to hear a studio recording with the same arrangement!
