What do you get if you mix one of my favourite producers with one of my new favourite artists. A magificent remix of Stac – Balls Bounce by Bonobo. Its beautiful.
An unofficial remix of “She Just Likes To Fight” by Four Tet feat. ROX from Ghostpoet featuring ROX. I dont think Ghostpoet has released anything i don’t like! And one of the most exciting things is that he is supposed to be phenomenal live as well, this new brownswood recruit is high on my list of people I want to see live at the moment! I am excited about whats to come!

I posted some Ilex tracks a few weeks ago, and just came across a new one today, Mantua. I have major love for her music, everytime I hear something new, it leacves me wanting more and more! This is another great track.
I have spent that last few days knee deep in reggae provided by Cubikmusiks reggae show.. So was delighted when i came across, this rolling bouncing track by San Soda!!
These two tracks are from The Broken Orchestra, Over & Over has some beautiful vocals, but I love Shibui, it is superficially a melancholy tune, but the beat combined with the horns gives the track a lovely uplifting feel. The single featuring these two tracks will be available on limited edition 7” vinyl as well as digital download from Autumn 2010.

I mentioned the self entitled EP from Baba Yaga being released the 16th August a few days ago, I have been lucky enough to have a listen to the rest of the EP recently, and I really wanted to share a couple of tracks with you.
Baba Yaga is a witch in eastern European cultures and all the tracks have a dark feel to them, especially one of my favourite tracks ‘tell’, the creaking at the start gives a sort of eerie feel, before the beat kicks in, but the beat, the beat is this throbbing enveloping sound, check it out!
I love the track ‘You’ll Never Know’. The flavours of Massive Attack, the Middle Eastern influenced vocals that a times come across as an duet, and at other times a heart wrenching call and response all strung together with a slow burning beat that you can help but sway to. Check out the rest of the tracks just below. You will be to get purchase the EP from all good online stores.
